Do you have exceptional customer service and communication skills?  We are looking for candidates with a passion for customer service, a can-do attitude and proven ability to handle large volumes of work.  
Join our team as an Account Specialist.  This is a critical, high-volume role that interacts directly with our external clients (by outbound phone and email) to service their account by engaging the document management process for the purpose of processing worker's compensation claims as well as client inquiries, payment research, invoice/billing, file delays, system access, etc. The Account Specialist also helps support sending out and receiving company mail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure EnableComp has documentation needed to file appeals and initial bill submissions to payers, including but not limited to implant invoices, UB-04 documents, Explanations of Benefits, medical record components.
  • Send document requests list to clients and monitor those requests on a weekly basis.
  • Communicate with clients via email and/or phone daily.
  • Forward client updates to the Revenue Services team as needed.
  • Create and maintain reports.
  • Provide daily updates to Operations Account Manager.
  • Scan and upload documents received from client.
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings.
  • Follow up with client regarding topics including but not limited to: remote system access, document requests, payment research requests.
  • Collect outbound correspondence and mail out.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required.  Associates or Bachelor's preferred.
  • 1 year of billing office experience in a healthcare setting.
  • 1 year experience in business-to-business environment preferred.
  • Limited travel (less than 10%) to client sites. 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Competent in MS Office Suite and Windows applications.
  • General office environment; must be able to sit for long periods of time.
