Position Summary

The Complex Claims Project Coordinator will assist the Senior Director of Complex Claims with organizing and controlling project activities regarding multiple new and current clients. The coordinator will communicate risks, opportunities, and current state of projects. In order to fulfill this obligation, the coordinator will need to coordinate meetings, resources, and information.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand Veteran Administration and Motor Vehicle Accident product lines.
  • Participate in product implementation meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches, while suggesting solutions.
  • Plan and manage team project schedules and along with client specific information.
  • Assist Implementation team with current Complex Claim projects.
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current and filed.
  • Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, and emails.
  • Communicate with team members to identify and define project requirements and scope.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 4 Year College Degree preferred, GED required.
  • 2 years' experience in healthcare field working.
  • 1 year of client facing/customer services experience,
  • Intermediate level understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing,
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access office equipment, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a copy/scan/print machine, phone and computer.
