Position Summary

The Manager, Data Analytics is responsible for working with senior leadership, analyzing and leveraging operational, financial and healthcare data to solve complex business issues for our clients. Responsible for the quality control on projects and ensuring that project goals are met. Facilitate projects with the use of proprietary data and complex modeling.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze behavior and trends and deliver insights to key customers and stakeholders.
  • Gather and mine data from multiple sources including marketing, sales, technology and finance.
  • Work closely with the internal team to develop the organizations enterprise-wide data solutions.
  • Design and maintain reports using BI and Analytics tools.
  • Take the lead role in gathering enterprise-wide key metrics and ensure these metrics are displayed on a dashboard for management
  • Working knowledge of ETL process and client data files to ensure accuracy of the data being loaded.
  • Manage Data Analyst.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of commensurate experience.
  • 7 years' working in healthcare, SaaS or other similar environment partnering with internal stakeholders to research and investigate key business problems through quantitative analysis of healthcare data and presenting statistical findings and conclusions.
  • 2 years' managing others or serving in a team leadership capacity.
  • 5 years' experience with SQL, ETL and relational databases.
  • Ability to work autonomously often with limited direction and supervision and experience with multidisciplinary project coordination and management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology such as diagnosis codes, CPT codes, claim ID, DRG, inpatient and outpatient, etc.
  • 5 years' experience determining, developing, testing and implementing system requirements and specifications.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Special Considerations and Prerequisites

  • Demonstrated experience with ETL.
  • Proven experience with Data Extraction.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex analytic results to an audience of varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and work product validation.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ownership of body of work.
